Water Therapy Check On/Off Sheet Received: Yes

Fixed or tested:

I tested all of the bilge pumps onboard and they checked out okay.
All water pumps worked well and all fitting were tight.
Both engines ran well.
The outdrives worked well.
The generator worked well.
The AC and heater worked well.
The solar panels are working well.  The batteries were in float within an hour of daylight each day.
The AC and heater vent put out a musty smell when it was used.  I removed the filter at the air intake and sprayed Lysol into the ductwork with the AC running.  This fixed the problem.
Two 12V light bulbs were replaced.
A support bracket for the new antenna was added per the manufacturers recommendation.
Two portable 6’ tables were purchased and added to the top deck.  Storage blocks and tie downs were added to secure them.  The tie down system needs to be improved.
There was a leak in the fresh water strainer.  The housing was put back on dry and the O ring folded compromising the seal.  I removed and resealed it.  I believe this took care of the leak (it was hard to tell because the plywood under the strainer was soaked and took days to dry).
Both brown water tanks had pulled loose from the fill pipe fittings.  The forward seal had a 1/8 inch gap and the aft tank had a 1 inch gap.  I used larger screws to pull the tank back up to the seals and used 3M 1500 sealant around both seals to insure they don’t separate again.
A shackle was missing from one of the anchors.  Brandon noted that it had vibrated loose and the all shackle shafts were loose when he arrived on site on the lake.  I purchased another shackle and replaced it.

Open Items:

The one way diode located under the helm station gets very warm when running shore power or the generator.  Due to the heat problem I did not install the cover that was purchased to protect it.  The diode needs to be relocated under the helm station in the hold where it will get better air circulation.  Brandon and I will relocate it later this year when the boat is not in use or in the fall or spring.
We had rain several nights and one day while we were there.  I noticed that the awning is leaking at several of the new seams from the work I had done to it last winter.  I will take some 3M water proofing with me in June.  If I can find the boat on the lake I will seal the seams.  It should only take an hour or so at the most.  If I can’t find the boat on the lake while I am there I will go down when it is not in use and take care of it.
We lost and replaced on anchor line.  I will be going down in June to try to retrieve the line that was dropped overboard.  If I can retrieve it we will have an extra one.
During check-off we noticed that the PORT prop had a blade that had been partially sheared.  I got the spare prop out and asked AP to replace the damaged prop and send the damaged prop out to be repaired and send me the bill.  I have been unable to verify if they got that done.  I was told it would be done the day we turned the boat in.  They said they would replace the prop while the boat was in the water.
One of our large garbage cans needs to be replaced.  The lid will not seal properly.  The wind kept on blowing the lid off and the crows had a field day and made a huge mess.
Brandon and I both verified that the sink by the lower bedrooms has lake water for hot and fresh water for cold.  This mixes our fresh water and lake water from the same tap and risks cross contamination from lake water.  Brandon and I will figure out how to fix this problem in the fall.  Given the location of the sink it will be difficult to access.  We will add a tap for fresh water that matches the other sink locations and tie in lake water for the cold water on the existing tap….like the rest of the sinks on the boat.
The DVD player may be going out.  Brandon mentioned that the head keeps getting stuck like the DVD is dirty (even though the DVD is clean).  I purchased a DVD head cleaner and used it 8 times over the period of time I was there.  The player still skips and stalls.  I can purchase a VHS /DVD player here in SLC and take it down in June.
We spent 2 ½ hours at the pump out dock at Dangling Rope because they did not have a fitting that would connect to ours.  According to the Park Service Ranger in charge of the pump out our fittings are a little smaller than standard.  I will try to find a fitting that we can keep on board in case anyone goes to DR again.
The kitchen is missing 3 spoons.  I forgot to pick some extra ones up from Wal-Mart while I was there.

Misc:

I have been working with LPM and AP to resolve the issue with the stands for WT.  The bottom line is that LPM is claiming that AP picked up the stands for the boat.  Rob Tubman has talked to everyone and anyone who might have gone over to pick them up and he says they did not pick them up.  Rae had me sign for everything that I picked up.  I suspect they do not have a signature for our stands.  As I mentioned it is not a question of whether or not we had that stands but rather who is in possession of them now.  I will keep working with Rob and LPM to try and resolve this.
I got a radio call from AP on Tuesday afternoon.  They were expecting us in on Tuesday even though the schedule and our paperwork said we would be in Wednesday morning.
I don’t think (not sure) that the exterior of the boat got cleaned or waxed before it was put in the water.
Overall the service from AP was outstanding and was as promised.
The indicator on the helm station for the tanks (fresh water/waste1/waste2) has a full harness for three tanks but only the fresh water tank is wired and connected.  The two waste tanks do not have the tank tape or wires.  I would recommend we connect them to the control unit next fall or winter.
I noticed that some of the screens (for example the screen on the rear sliding door) are installed backwards.  The rubber seal strip that pushes against the glass is pointing the wrong way so there is no seal made when the screen is being used and the door is open.  This allows a gap between the screen frame and the door and allows a fair amount of gnats to get in.  I didn’t have time to see if the screens were on the wrong doors or if they just came wrong from the factory.

Wish List:

A new stereo system for 2008
Nicer bar stool chairs for the upper deck.
Separate tap for fresh water in the sink at the lower bedrooms.
Flat panel TVs in the bedrooms (with built in DVD players).  Not to expensive and easy to install…..I think.

Note:

This was the most comprehensive check off I have ever had.
